Die Rems-Murr-Kliniken legen großen Wert auf eine umfassende und strukturierte ärztliche Weiterbildung. Gemäß Weiterbildungsordnung der Landesärztekammer bietet die Rems-Murr-Klinik Schorndorf die volle Weiterbildung sowohl für die Allgemeinchirurgie wie auch die Viszeralchirurgie an. Im Rahmen des Common Trunks erfolgt die Weiterbildung auf unserer interdisziplinären Notaufnahme, auf unserer Intensivstation sowie auf unserer peripheren Station. Von Beginn an genießen unsere Weiterbildungsassistenten eine umfassende operative Ausbildung, die an die individuellen Fähigkeiten stufenweise angepasst wird. Insbesondere minimalinvasive Operationen können unsere Ärzte schon früh begleiten.
Eine umfassende Betreuung unserer Assistenzärzte ist uns besonders wichtig. Eine strukturierte Einarbeitung unter fachlicher und organisatorischer Anleitung eines Mentors, Evaluationsgespräche - auch mit unserem Chefarzt Dr. Ulmer - zur Bewertung des Weiterbildungsfortschrittes und gemeinsamer Zielsetzung sind für uns selbstverständlich. Zusätzlich unterstützen wir unsere Ärzte mit der Bereitstellung von medizinisch-wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften und Onlinezugängen in alle Fachbereiche. Unsere internen Behandlungspfade können die Assistenten jederzeit in unserem Intranet nachlesen. Durch unser internes und externes Kursangebot finanziert die Klinik weitere wichtige Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten.
Wir bieten das gesamte Spektrum der Allgemein- und Viszeralchirurgie an. Zusätzlich finden Sie in unserer Klinik eine erweiterte Expertise in den Operationen des Verdauungstraktes, des Pankreas, der Leber sowie der Schilddrüse. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ist die onkologische Chirurgie inklusive der Anwendung der HIPEC. Zwei Drittel der Eingriffe werden in Minimal-Invasiver-Technik durchgeführt. Die Mehrzahl der komplexeren Eingriffe erfolgt mit einem 3D-Laparoskopie-System. Die Abteilung ist zertifiziert als Hernienzentrum, Koloproktologisches Zentrum sowie Minimalinvasives Zentrum und strebt die Zertifizierung weiterer DGAV-Zentren an.
